Ken Dash is one of our most committed volunteers, and a well known character in the Sheffield archaeology scene. His specialism is prehistoric archaeology, but that has not stopped Ken from conducting a painstaking survey of the building over the last two years. Most weekends Ken can be found somewhere in the house, if not volunteering then carefully recording and measuring. He has made many interesting discoveries and, by carefully building up and considering all the available evidence, has drawn some fascinating conclusions about the development of the house. We're currently compiling a guidebook which will give detailed information about these findings, but ahead of that, and to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary, we're going to publish a series of short and easily digestible articles - nuggets of interesting information -written by Ken, which focus on different aspects of the house.
