Wedding ceremonies take place in the house’s 16th century oak panelled hall, where we have a capacity of 25 including the couple. The lawn behind the house can then be used to host a drinks reception and refreshments.

Being located in historic Meersbrook Park also offers you the finest view over Sheffield to share with your guests after the ceremony, or as an additional backdrop to use for those treasured photographs.

Our wedding packages are very competitively priced, with all proceeds going to the Friends of Bishops’ House, a registered charity run entirely by volunteers.   We make no charge for ‘corkage’ – you simply provide your drinks in advance.
