Thursday 17th October – Poetry and wine at Bishops’ House
Join us for an evening of historical, magical, mythical poetry perfect for a chilly autumn evening.
North Wales resident Juliette van der Molen’s latest book, Mother, May I?, and the most recent pamphlet from Sheffield’s own Kate Garrett, To Feed My Woodland Bones, were both published this year by Animal Heart Press. With forthcoming books exploring opposite ends of the 17th century – Kate’s involves the Jacobean era, and Juliette’s the Salem witch trials – they look forward to sharing their combined poetic repertoire of changelings, mothers, witches, saints, survival, lore, and more.
